The ultrasonic tomography inspection took place during the experimental on-site campaign carried out in November 2020 at the Archaeological Museum of Carmo. Since the automatic acoustic tomography system developed by the CSIC/UPM was implemented for the first time, the whole team made sure it properly worked at all times.
The data was obtained during seven consecutive days in which the process was also documented and recorded, as the system performance needs about five minutes for each inspection; once finished, we proceeded to carefully shift it to the next position. To summarize a whole working day, part of the team took several photos to create a short time-lapse video as shown below.
