The second general meeting of the HWITHIN project was carried out online by videoconference on February 24th 2021. The main topics of the meeting were:
(1) sharing the project activities during 2020 and the state of the project (objectives, remaining tasks, budget, deliverables); (2) to present the activities carried out during the fieldwork in November 2020; (3) showing the results of the GPR data processing and interpretation using the results from the fieldwork in November 2020; (4) updades on the 3D virtual reconstruction of the case study, including the advances on the hypothetical reconstruction of the original state of the church; (5) showcase the different approaches for positioning the 3D model on the real scene in augmented reality applications.
Due to the global pandemic, the meeting venue changed into a virtual gathering, as it will be for the next general meeting which will be held during summer; on the bright side, a second fieldwork mission is planned to collect more data at the end of April.
